Radhanagar Beach

One of the most spectacular and popular beaches of sand in India: bounded by perfectly spiralled underwater waves, all surrounded by lush indigenous forests. It’s on the island’s north west area, approx 11 km southwest of the jetty.

Other fun activities to do here are scuba diving, water snorkelling or one can play volleyball with their group. Radhanagar Beach offers sunbathing, swimming and basking in the sun, with the clean sand flowing under your feet into the sea, and the unspoiled emerald blue waves caressing the shore.

Elephant Beach

Elephant beach is an isolated beach, a perfect location for water sports or leisure. Elephant beach includes incredible underwater marine life as well as rich coral reef structure.

The beach’s sandy beaches, the spectacular diving spots, the ethnic cultures and the fascinating past make Elephant Beach an exciting tourist holiday destination. Elephant Beach is an excellent option for visitors to immerse themselves in its fascinating water sports activities.

Kalapathar Beach

One of Havelock Island’s famous beaches is Kalapathar Beach. The name of the beach comes from the nearby village, Kalapathar Village, and from the black rocks that grace the coastline. The beach is short, and due to the rocks at the beach, the beach is not recommended for swimming. At this beach, one can get the mesmerising sunset views. Since the beach is not so busy, couples will enjoy a romantic stroll and families can also spend good quality time.

One can reach Kalapathar Beach by hiring an auto or rent a bike / bicycle from Havelock Jetty. It takes about 30 minutes to reach Kalapathar.
