Glimpse of Kashmir

Welcome to Srinagar airport and proceed to your hotel. In evening enjoy the Shikara Ride in Dal Lake visiting floating gardens and Charchinari (The Golden Island) - an island in the Dal Lake which is known for its 4 majestic Chinar trees. Here you can photograph yourself in traditional Kashmiri outfits on your own.

Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 02: Srinagar to Sonamarg - Day Trip (80 kms / 02 hrs)

Today we do full day excursion to Sonamarg - known as 'Meadow of Gold', is a picturesque hill station located at a height of 2692 meters in the Kashmir Valley. Upon arrival we explore Sonamarg and admire the sparkling lakes and snow-capped mountains.

You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year.

Evening return back to Srinagar hotel.

Day 03: Srinagar to Gulmarg Day Trip (60 kms / 1½ hrs one way)

Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon and check in at the hotel. Later, begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola Cable Car (optional) (08 minutes rope way). Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some horse-riding.

In the evening we proceed to Srinagar.

Day 04: Srinagar to Pahalgam Day Trip (90 kms / 2½ hrs one way)

Today proceed to the Pahalgam – known as the ‘Valley of Shepherds’, is a scenic hill station in Kashmir where many Bollywood movies have been shot.

Drive through Saffron fields, en-route you visit Avantipur Ruins, view Pampore saffron fields (Flowering starts in the month of October), Bat Factory.

Evening return back to Srinagar Hotel.

Day 05: Srinagar Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit Moghul Gardens - the Nishat Bagh- the garden of pleasure and Shalimar Bagh- abode of love, Pari Mahal, Jamia Masjid, Shah Hamdan Mosque, Shankar Acharya Temple.
Overnight at Srinagar.

Day 06: Departure from Srinagar

After your breakfast, we will assist you with transfers to Srinagar Airport.
Kashmir Tour concludes with mixed feelings!

Any sightseeing in Gulmarg (it is done by Union Taxi at Gulmarg or by pony ride and is on direct payment basis)
